Integrative Movement Therapies offers the following:

Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) is a healing technique that has become a popular massage choice. It blends soothing, rhythmical, precise massage-like movements to accelerate the flow of lymphatic fluid in the body.

Swedish Massage refers to a collection of techniques designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the blood flow returning to the heart.

Myofascial Release allows more functional flexibility and mobility of the muscles, fascia and associated structures.  It treats restrictions in the body's muscles and fascia by the application of gentle traction, pressures and positioning.

Session Information

The first session will be an initial evaluation and will usually take up to 1 ½ hour.  The intake is essential and will include a short medical history, current as well as past complaints or recurrences.  The first session will include a physical assessment where we can determine problem areas through touch.  Addressing the primary complaint will also occur.

Sessions thereafter will typically be 1 hour to 1 ½ hour in length.
